Manufacturing business situated in Bankstown, Sydney NSW specialises in Sheet Metal product manufacturing. We are experiencing high demand and growth, currently looking for a Sheet Metal Fabricator (Guillotine Operator) to be part of our team.

This job position suits someone who has working knowledge and experience with cutting Sheet Metal using a guillotine. 

You'll be assisted by an existing supporting Sheet Metal worker and your are responsible to complete the cuttings efficiently

NOTE: You will be asked to demonstrate technical knowledge and ability on site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Guillotine / Press Brake machines
• Responsible for on-time cutting according to production schedule provided
• Measure and mark Sheet Metal plates according to the cut list and drawings, determine ways to cut and material required for the job
• Material wastage control (i.e. organise offcuts & optimise cuttings when possible)
• Drill and punch holes in Sheet Metal
• Ensure that quality standards and safety precautions are followed
   

Qualification:

• Manufacturing and production experience essential
• Ability to read drawings / job sheet, execute Sheet Metal cutting jobs essential
• Sheet metal experience essential
• Forklift license preferred, not essential

• MIG Welding and fabrication experience essential

• Ability to read drawings, welding specifics essential
• Sheet metal experience essential
