Factory Hand / Turret & Press Brake Operator Position Available

A well-established company with cutting-edge technology in the Sheetmetal industry is looking for an all-round Factory Hand / Turret & Press Brake Operator to join our team. We are seeking the right candidate to join our small team consisting of four full-time employees on the factory floor. We are continually taking on new projects with a variety of ongoing work. Our Malaga factory boasts excellent facilities and a friendly culture.
While prior experience is desirable, it is not mandatory. We value the right attitude and a willingness to learn and engage in the work.
Ideal candidates will be able to:
- Read and follow drawings and job sheets and work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of operating and setting CNC Press Brake and CNC Turret Machine.
- Knowledge in selecting the folding punch and die according to the Sheet Metal thickness and working with different materials.
- Basic turret/press brake programming would be advantageous, but training will be given.

Key Tasks / General Duties:
- Set up, maintain, operate, and run CNC turret punch machines.
- Set up, maintain, and operate press brake machines.
- Prepare completed projects for dispatch.
- Load/unload goods & materials (forklift).
- Handle and move Sheet Metal materials safely within the factory.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to fabrication processes, equipment malfunctions, or material issues.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assemble Sheet Metal components into finished products.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage material inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate tasks and relay information.
- Manage scrap.
To be suitable, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must have your own form of transport and a valid license.
- Have a valid forklift license (preferred).
- Sound knowledge of OHS.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
Salary will range depending on experience.
