We are seeking a fabricator/welder to join our fabrication team to assist in construction of sheetmetal cabinets for switchboards, using aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel.
Successful applicant will have:
- Fabrication qualifications preferred but not essential
- Experience with Sheet Metal work, with good MIG and TIG welding skills
- Experience with stainless steel highly valued
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic - ability to maintain a fast and consistent pace
Tasks include:
- Folding sheetmetal parts using brake press
- Assembly and welding of cabinets (MIG & TIG)
- Stainless steel TIG brushing
- Fabrication of wide range of sundry parts required in switchboards
- Preparation of cabinets for powdercoating
