Our advanced manufacturing capabilities produce high-quality steel and sheet metal components for commercial and industrial air handling equipment, and we're seeking a proactive and team-oriented individual to drive productivity, foster a positive culture, and lead our talented team.
The Role:
- Lead and supervise sheet metal department employees, ensuring timely product readiness.
- Drive productivity improvements through the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques while maintaining delivery performance and meeting KPI targets.
- Generate regular production status reports, forecast completion dates, and initiate process enhancements to streamline workflows.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly, utilizing strong leadership skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Cultivate a culture of openness, improvement, collaboration, respect, and accountability among team members.
- Support sheet metal production staff in maintaining quality standards, overseeing workflows, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Prioritise safety by actively engaging in safety initiatives, meetings, adhering to policies, promptly reporting hazards, and promoting safe equipment use.

The ideal candidate should possess:
- Prior experience in a supervisory role, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and instructions.
- Proficiency in reading, understanding, and utilizing engineering and assembly drawings, as well as manufacturing and quality procedures.
- Basic computer skills required, including the ability to effectively use the Company's computer system for stores-related purposes.
