Hanson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia.
We are currently seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic Leading Hand to join the team at our Langwarrin Quarry in VIC, approx. 45 minutes' drive Southeast of Melbourne CBD.
This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.
In your new role with us, you will:
- Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment
- Operate a heavy vehicle (front end loader)
- Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling
This role is a great fit for you if you have:

- A positive work ethic and ability to work within Hanson values and philosophies
- Excavator/Front End Loader/Dump truck ticket is advantageous
- Experience in either Quarrying or Mining or Civil Construction
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
What we offer:
- $31.44 - $34.65/hour pending experience/qualifications, plus penalty rates, plus super
- Shift times is generally 6:00am - 4:30pm, pending workloads
- Rostered half day Saturday shifts according to business needs (1 or 2 p/month)
