With a product export portfolio servicing 25+ countries, product innovation and delivery form a critical deliverable for the business.
Due to exceptional growth, they are commissioning a new multimillion-dollar manufacturing facility in Cleveland to support their future growth for the next 10 – 15 years.
Our client is currently assembling a maintenance team to support the new site and is seeking experienced industrial electricians who have worked in a manufacturing environment.
The Role:
Reporting to your supervisor, you be responsible for trouble shooting, fault finding, PLC & VSD programming, planned preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance on our plant and manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform trouble shooting, fault finding, PLC & VSD programming
- Planned preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance on our plant and manufacturing equipment.
- Assisting contractors with project work
- Minor installations and commissioning work
- Providing frontline production electrical support
- Providing effective handovers and work documentation
- Contributing to the continuous improvement processes of operations
- Electrical license (Accreditations in Automation or Instrumentation is highly regarded)
- Exposure to industrial / commercial manufacturing environments
Prior experience with trouble shooting, fault finding, automation/PLCs and control systems. - Prior experience working on production equipment, PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, safety systems.
- Ability to autonomously, communicate effectively, solve problems and prioritise work tasks
- Ability to work on a rotating shift (Mornings & Afternoons) - As the business grows and develops we will look to adjusting rosters to suit production requirements and employee flexibility, this could include a 4 on 4 off roster or other alternatives in consultation with staff
