Shift Leader

Shift leader required in the Newcastle area. Start asap.

Overview-

• The role of the Shift Leader is a dedicated “on the floor” based role overseeing their team and allocate roles to complete required production tasks. This role will not be running production but will be required to allocate a team member to do this.
• Shift Leaders will train any new members of the team to the standards required and sign off team members as they complete their training.
• They will also be required to assist where needed as well as complete various administration responsibilities, including checking of Production Folders, Transfer sheet, basic maintenance, set up of rework/top ups as well as others.
• The Shift Leader will be initial point of contact for breakdowns that require assistance after hours and will liaise with the Factory Manager if further assistance is required.

• Proven ability to Lead a Crew
• Strong knowledge of Production Procedures
• Strong Knowledge of Packaging Procedures
• Strong knowledge of Production Folders and how to complete
• Strong Knowledge of how when to escalate issues
• Strong knowledge of GMP Practices
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety rules
