Our Crew members are the life blood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You'll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy Guzman Y Gomez business.
Experience is helpful, but it's not everything. What we mean is:
- Experience in hospitality venues or fast paced environments is great but not essential
- You're open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
- 'Can do' attitude and can be relied upon to follow through
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have/be:
- Completed (or willingness to undertake) Food Safety Supervisor course
- Completed (or willingness to undertake) Responsible Service of Alcohol course
- Proven experience in a supervisory/management role in the restaurant/hospitality industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Understanding of written operational and financial reports
- Good people management and conflict resolution skills
- Personable and approachable disposition
- Strong computer/IT acumen
