Shires Liaison Officer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Shires Liaison Officer to join our experienced team in Osborne Park. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with or working at local councils with an interest in residential design codes.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• liaise with local councils and estate developers to gain the relevant approvals for each project;
• Submission of follow up applications, obtaining neighbours approvals and keeping clients updated during the approvals process;
• General administration tasks as required;
• Any other duties appropriate to the role, as assigned.

To be considered for the role, you will have:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role in residential construction or a local council. 
• General admin experience will be considered 
• Excellent problem solving skills;
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written;
• Good attention to detail and proven time management skills to effectively manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines;
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team;
• Exceptional communication skills and a can do attitude; and
• Current police clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
