Job description
As the Shopper Activation Assistant Manager, your responsibility will be to implement best in class in-store activations, in alignment with brand, shopper, category and Point of Sale (POS) vision, to develop the profile and presence of the Ferrero Pralines & Nutella brands in Australia & New Zealand. Responsible for core, NPD & seasonal activations across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & deliver best in class POS Plans:
•Formulate Retail Activation (POS) plans as part of agreed campaign activities
•Drive the POSM development process across the brands from briefing to delivery of impactful displays.
•Identify opportunities for innovation & continuous improvement to optimise POS plans and execution quality
•Conduct regular field visits with Shopper team/Retail Operations team to stay aware of competitor activity and monitor Ferrero POSM impact in stores
Communication
•Ensure timely and concise communication between Head office Sales, Marketing, Category and Retail Capability team on all activation elements.
•Liaise with Ferrero Asia Pacific (FAP) and Luxembourg teams for POSM feedback and approvals.
•Manage the effective, timely communication to Retail Capability team for all display material.
Shopper Marketing Campaign
•Planning - work cross functionally to build shopper campaigns (WW & Coles in-store/on-line assets), with holistic path to purchase thinking
•Execute with excellence - including engagement with sales, marketing & retailers to develop & deploy assets
•Evaluation – ensure key activations are robustly evaluated, with learnings fed back into planning cycles
Supplier Relationship
•Liaise with suppliers to ensure effective POSM sourcing, accountable for meeting activation timelines and general terms & conditions.
•Manage suppliers with reviews by activity by session in order to highlight positives and improvements
Online ordering process for Australia – currently Pralines, adopting for Nutella when needed:
•Liaise and align on Pralines POSM requirements for Australia with the Luxembourg commercial team
•Order Pralines POSM for Australia via the global e-catalogue tool
•Ensure packaging PO’s are raised in SAP
Codes & Warehouse Management
•Work with Shopper Activation Executive to raise Packaging codes
•Monitor Costa stock on hand (SOH) reports and report back to Supply Chain and Retail Operations team on packaging materials suitable for movement or destruction.
•Create Packaging Codes Pralines and Nutella that can be used at Pack Centre storage
•Review Pack Centre stock on hand report on a weekly basis to monitor POSM stock levels and the requirement for more POSM in states
•Monitor delivery reports for Pack Centre and advise the Field Sales Team accordingly of deliveries
About You
You will have a bachelors degree with several years experience in a similar environment. You will be an excellent communicator and build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Experience in working with agencies and working with POS material is essential. Excellent time management and project management experience are essential.
