We have an opportunity for a Cook to become a part of our kitchen team.
We are open 8am to 4.30 pm Mon-Sat and 9am to 3pm Sunday. You must therefore be available to work any day of the week. Performing all food preparation & cooking duties
- Performing allocated duties for shifts as directed
- Maintaining performance & quality standards
- Preparation, cooking and safe storage of all stock
- Compliance with food safety and Workplace Health and Safety
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Cook required however training is provided
- Food Handler's Certificate preferable
- Knowledge of and experience with WHS & Hygiene procedures
- Exceptional presentation skills and personal grooming standards
- Able to work well as part of a team and under pressure
- High level communication skills, written, verbal and listening
- Exceptional efficiency with great attention to detail
- able to work weekend and weekdays
Positions are 4 to 5 days a week working approximately 28-32 hours. You will have experience in a busy cafe and be able to work well in a team environment.
