Canteen Convenor - Short Order Cook

CANTEEN CONVENOR/SHORT ORDER COOK POSITION AVAILABLE

The Redcliffe Tigers AFC are looking for a well organised person with a friendly, welcoming manner to assist the club with the management of food and beverage department.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable person to ensure the canteen is operational on game day and other times as required.

* Responsibilities: 

• Establish canteen hours 
• Assist in creating a suitable canteen menu and ensure it is maintained during the season in conjunction with club requirements and the committee
• Cooking menu items
• Order all items considered necessary to stock the canteen
• Arrange pick-up/delivery of all items
• Ensure the canteen is regularly stocked during the season
• Supervise canteen volunteers and assist during busy periods
• Ensure the canteen and its contents are stored to current health standards
• Keep the Committee informed of all relevant matters
• Report at each monthly meeting an overview of key items
• Be available on training and game days to run the canteen
• Organise weekly meals for each of the senior playing groups based on budget       
• Ensure the canteen is kept in a hygienic manner, following safe food handling practices (a course in Safe Food Handling is required)

This position is a paid position.  Renumeration will be contracted in negotiation with the committee.  

Applicants must have a Blue Card, or be willing to apply for one (assistance will be given).

Hours will vary depending on the fixtures.  This will involve approximately every second Saturday all day (April to September) and most Sundays for various hours.
