Join our dynamic team and create unforgettable customer experiences as our Showroom Manager!
The Showroom Manager is responsible for supporting the owner and warehouse manager in the day-to-day operations. To work alongside and provide guidance to a small sales team, interact with customers, provide assistance, and facilitate a smooth sales process.
Primary Responsibilities
- Sales: Engage with customers on the showroom floor, cultivating trust and sparking interest in our products. Assist customers in making decisions that meet their needs, ensuring confidence in their purchase.
- Customer Service: Create a warm, inviting atmosphere for our valued customers. Resolve customer enquiries swiftly and effectively in the showroom, over the phone, or via email.
- Leadership/Management: Set high standards by establishing clear expectations and leading by example. Mentor team members by providing training, guidance, and support. Encourage open communication, collaboration, and a positive work environment to foster team cohesion and success. Supervise store opening and closing procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays that help customers explore our wide selection of products. Maintain the showroom's cleanliness and organisation, including the shifting and carrying of stock as needed.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE
Experience in sales or customer service (experience selling furniture, homewares, or other industry-related products is preferred)
Leadership skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations.
Genuine interest in furniture and interiors
Warm and friendly disposition, enjoy engaging with others
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
High attention to detail and well-organised
Basic computer skills
Must be able to work Saturdays 11am-4pm
