As the Manager, you will be responsible for developing your team to exceed annual sales and profitability expectations, with a strong focus on brand and client development.

As the Showroom Manager
You have strong, proven industry experience in the management of high end retail as well as a strong desire to make your mark and stand out as a leader in your field.
You have a passion for interiors and design and an eye for detail.
You also have a strong passion in delivering and ensuring an amazing customer experience.

You will be managing by leading and coaching as well as developing a great team and driving them to exceed targets and goals
You will be one of the brand ambassadors, and to that end you will reflect the brand vision and philosophy of delivering the most superior retail experience in the industry

With great business acumen you easily excel in increasing store turnover and in establishing rewarding relationships with designers, developers and other key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for
Establishing and driving a high performance culture and energy within the Showroom
Driving sales and delegating all tasks peripheral to sales
Delivering an outstanding customer experience and ensuring that a positive shopping experience is at the core of all customer interactions as well as managing and improving customer satisfaction through skilled conflict resolution strategies.
All operational and administration management of the showroom, overseeing the day to day operations, including rostering, general administration, after care sales, maintenance and visual merchandising.
Managing, leading, coaching and developing your team as well as assessing and analysing of their strengths and weaknesses
Lead by example and provide opportunities for your staff to grow and excel in an upbeat and supportive team culture
Inventory management and monitoring of stock levels, ordering new merchandise to meet customer demand
Achieving KPI's, sales and all store budgets
Delivering and maintaining exceptional customer service
Ensuring the company's VM standards are maintained
Enforcing company's strategy, brand and philosophy to increase brand awareness and drive profits
Ensuring that the showroom complies with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies and procedures.
Identifying and resolving problems as they arise and implementing relevant strategies to improve the overall performance of the showroom and company
You will possess
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role with a proven record of exceeding sales targets and customer base.
The proven ability and skill to report, analyse and interpret data and trends as well as figures and budget management
Proficiency in Microsoft office, general computer, as well as Point of Sales systems
Excellent problem solving skills, quick thinking and decision making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional conflict resolution skills across all levels
A strong unwavering passion for an amazing customer experience
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
The ability to think laterally and see the bigger picture
The ability to lead, manage, inspire and motivate a team autonomously
Proven ability to train, supervise, mentor and support your staff

The drive and desire to be a key player in the successful expansion and representation of the brand and its vision
A background and or qualification in management is essential; a background / qualification in interior design is preferable, but not essential.
Possess a strong understanding of Consumer Law
