We are the largest locally owned and operated independent plumbing supplies company which is growing and as such we are always looking for energetic hard workers to join our team.
About the Role
A position has become available at our Charmhaven store for an exceptional individual with a proven sales record and high customer service to join the team as a Showroom Manager. As a manager, you will oversee a small team and drive the strong performance of the showroom and staff. This role deals in all aspects of customer care, sales & orders as well as working to achieve set budgets and targets. We use a Point of Sales software system; experience using POS software systems are desirable. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to step into their first managerial role from a strong and experienced sales consultancy background.
A typical day will involve:
- Assisting customers choose the perfect bathroom products
- Creating and managing customer quotes and orders via email and phone
- Keeping the showroom running smoothly and safely
What We Need
As a Showroom Manager, you will have strong leadership and management skills with the proven ability to pursue and exceed sales targets. You will need an 'on the ball' attitude with the ability to work under pressure and be a strong team player with high energy who wants to go the extra mile. We require a leader who is trustworthy, reliable, have an impeccable attention to detail and a 'hands on' approach. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar sales role, hold a current Drivers licence. An understanding of the plumbing and/or building industry will be highly regarded. Weekend work will be on a rotational basis. The ability to uphold Workplace Health and Safety Standards and Procedures is needed.
