About the Role?
As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to ensure the continued growth and profitability of Hertz. You will be based at our Victoria Store and you may be required to work at other VIC stores within reasonable travel distance. As the face of our business you will;
- Provide timely shuttle service to customers to/from airport terminal to the relevant rental location
- Act in compliance with business policies, local airport authorities traffic restrictions, and local laws
- Effective communication through PA or Talking Bus System, as well as with other Courtesy Service Drivers and Bus operations Supervisors using standard codes (if needed)
- Assist with customer queries and provide relevant information to enhance the customer experience
- Conduct thorough cleanliness inspections to ensure the bus is clean and well-presented in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Standards
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities assigned by management due to operational needs including, but not limited to, functioning as an instant return representative and/or ferry driver
About You?
To be successful in this position, our newest team member will have the following:
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and ability to engage in verbal interaction with customers
- Previous experience in customer service or sales; experience in rental industry preferred
- Flexibility of working hours (7-day shift work including weekends & public holidays may apply)
- A full and current AU driver’s licence with the ability to drive automatic vehicles
