Experience Required: Minimum five years specializing in Sichuan Cuisine
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Sichuan dishes using special cooking methods with precision and authenticity.
- Flavouring of the raw meats with Sichuan spices
- Monitoring and moderating the temperature of the woks
- Observation of the new kitchen environment for inventory storage
- Assisting the master chef in developing new dishes
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dishes and enhance menu offerings.
- Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cook specializing in Sichuan cuisine.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English languages.
- Excellent understanding and proficiency in various special Sichuan Cuisine Cooking methods.
- Extensive knowledge of Sichuan cooking techniques, spices, and flavours.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification in food handling and safety is preferred.
