The role:
As part of Cross River Rail, a new world class ETCS signalling system will be delivered by a collaboration between Cross River Rail Delivery Authority, Queensland Rail and Hitachi Rail through the Sequence Alliance.
As a Signaling Electrician you will play a part in delivering the ETCS L2 project, ensuring all electrical work is undertaken to a high standard.
Key accountabilities:
Responsible for undertaking the physical construction activities.
Responsible for executing construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation and drawings and functional construction documentation.
Support the Electrical team and subcontractors to deliver the ETCS L2 project plan.
Undertake all electrical works, in accordance with the project delivery plan.
Comply with all Heath Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Trade qualification in signalling and/or electrical.
2+ years in Railway signalling.
Demonstrated competency in implementing Health & Safety initiatives.
Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
Demonstrated experience working within a brownfield railway signalling environment.
Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.
