About the Role: As a seasoned Signal Electrician, your role will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of exceptional rail services to principal contractors across Central and North Queensland. From the installation, maintenance, and repair of signaling equipment to reporting on performance and condition, your expertise will be pivotal. Participation in shutdowns and civil support works may also be part of the exciting opportunities on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, repair, and adjust electrical signaling equipment.
• Execute scheduled maintenance activities on signaling infrastructure.
• Analyze, repair, and report on the cause of signaling failures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to signal maintenance and costing systems.
• Uphold safety standards, contributing to the reliability of rail services through diligent maintenance practices.
• Provide insightful reports on the performance and condition of signaling assets, facilitating informed decision-making.

About You: To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Certificate IV in Railway Signaling.
• Current 'C' Class Driver's License.
• Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic License or interstate equivalent (convertible prior to starting).
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and fault rectification of signaling equipment. 
• Ability to travel and work within regional Queensland.
• Capability to pass rail cat  medical and D&A screen.
