Job Description
Join a City Shaping Project that will re-connect suburbs and incorporate leading sustainably initiatives. The Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance (ALUA) is an Alliance partnership between Acciona Construction Australia, BMD Constructions, WSP Australia, AECOM Australia and the Public Transport Authority (PTA). The Alliance is delivering the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal project which will, elevated three sections of the rail line and remove six level crossings, create 5 new elevated train stations and create new publicly accessible spaces within the rail corridor.

Well-established team delivering essential services
We’re currently looking to engage an experienced Signalling Supervisor to deliver our signalling works associated with our complex Rail Infrastructure scope.
Reporting to our Superintendent, this newly created role will see you:
Work closely with our construction team and other key stakeholders in delivering our works
Lead and influence a team of subcontract workforce personnel
Coordinate multiple work fronts and discipline interfaces
Actively drive safe outcomes in undertaking all activities by ensuring that the ALUA safety and cultural behaviors are applied by the team
Contribute to and drive short and medium-term planning and scheduling for your works area with respect to the overall project requirements
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the required quality specifications
Live the ALUA project values and ensure the overall safety of our teams and people and the community
Work closely with all other stakeholders across the Project site in achieving required outcomes
Effectively planning works in your allocated area
Manage and lead direct labour teams as well as contracting groups
Provide a productive team environment where high morale contributes to the overall success of the project
Required Skills and Competencies
What you will bring to the team:
Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity with experience in managing signalling related works for the PTA or other similar rail authority;
Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal customers and external suppliers;
Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve;
Proven communicator who can lead, train and influence positive those around them.
