- Fortescue's Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: Full-time 2-2 RosterAs Signals Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring safe and reliable infrastructure. Reporting into the Track Maintenance Superintendent, your key responsibilities will be providing leadership to our Signals Technician Teams, and the interface between key stake holders for compliance as per policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate track inspection activities within our operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Ensure work schedule completed in the allotted time frame.
- Ensure Statutory requirements are met to the standards.
- Support and monitor the regular inspections of Fortescue rail network to identify maintenance requirements and ensure optimal functionality.
- Manage the signals team, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and equipment condition.
Qualifications and Experience- Cert 4 in Rail Signalling
- Certificate III in Infrastructure or relevant field.
- Relevant Leadership training or similar.
- Prior experience and knowledge of TPI rail network.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
