A Silo Team supervisor role is now available within Harberger Pty Ltd, a 50 year old family owned and run company.
The ideal candidate will supervise an offsite build crew containing 6-7 staff. The position involves site preparation, silo construction, organising materials and tooling, informing their team of project commencement dates and specifications. This role involves hands on work, while working alongside and instructing the team throughout the project.
The candidate will have good interpersonal communication skills, capability to read and understand site plans and they must enjoy working within a dynamic team environment. They will be willing to work away on projects within Australia for reasonable periods of time. The candidate must be aware of OHS responsibilities and needs to achieve a high level of quality and pride in their work.
The candidate requires experiences such as carpentry or an understanding of steel structures e.g. grain silos/sheds. A passion for working outdoors on varied sites is essential.
They possess White Card certification, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces and current Driver’s and Forklift License or have the willingness to obtain these accreditations. The confidence to use different machinery or a willingness to learn is essential. Wages will be payable by the hour, and upon successful completion of each of the project a bonus made payable.
