YEM Technology is currently seeking a Casual Site Administrator to join our site based team at Sino Iron Mine Site on a 8:6 or 9:5 roster, FIFO from Perth.
Sino Iron is a world class, large-scale magnetite iron ore project, located at Cape Preston, 100km south west of Karratha in Western Australia.
The role will see you assisting the Engineering and Project teams with daily project coordination and administration duties, maintaining communication with internal and external clients, suppliers and subcontractors to provide project interpretation and translation support to our Project & Engineering teams.
If you have the following skills and experience we are interested in you!
- Site Administration and or Coordination experience preferably with construction and/or mining experience
- Bilingual highly desirable; previous experience translating between English and Chinese
- Well-developed technical aptitude with a desire to learn; knowledge of mining processes and procedures is highly desirable
- Ability to engage in problem-solving to find new and innovative ways to resolve issues
- Ability to work in a participative and consultative manner, displaying professional integrity
- Well-rounded written and verbal communication skills and be able to work as part of a successful team
- High level of computer literacy, including the Microsoft suite and expertise in engineering industry applications
- Iron Ore mining experience is highly desirable
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold Australian permanent residency
Essential Criteria for the position:
- Australian Drivers License (minimum c class or equivalent).
- Candidates must have their Australian Work Rights to be considered for this role.
- FIFO from Perth, interstate flights not provided.
