About the role
The purpose of the Project Coordinator role entails the completion of the general project administration, and site clerical functions to assist the Project Manager and site in the efficient operation of the Port Hedland site.
** Please note, due to the short turn around all of our employees need to be based in WA.
This is a great Entry level opportunity for somebody wanting to break into the FIFO industry for the first time.
This includes:
• Assist Operations and Project Managers with project administration tasks in a timely manner, to meet project deadlines.
• Arrange employee travel, accommodation, transport and logistics.
• Manage weekly reporting and coordinating approvals to meet weekly deadlines.
• Assist with updating project trackers to cross reference hours against timesheets, subcontractor activity and project costs.
• Maintain employee rosters.
• Assist with the on-boarding and mobilisation processes of employees, including tracking, training, competencies and medical records.
• Manage purchase request documents for project supplies and arrange logistics of purchased materials.
• Create operational material, work packs, job cards and other resources for projects.
• Assist in document typing, formatting and styling of project deliverable documents.
Skills & Experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft applications
• At least 2 year’s experience in an operational environment
