Your Exciting New Role
Join us as a Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) Advisor to promote our core value of "Everybody Safe Everyday." This role is suitable for an experienced professional eager to contribute to health, safety, and environmental excellence.
You will work under the guidance of the National HS&E Manager, driving safety culture and compliance across operational sites. This is a site-based leadership role and would suit an enthusiastic, hands-on professional with a passion for safety and a curiosity of how ‘work is done’.
Your Responsibilities
- Championing HS&E within an operational site through the provision of advice, assistance and coaching of our leaders, employees, sub-contractors and visitors
- Working & Collaborating with the State Operations Manager in fostering a strong safety culture on-site
- Collaborating with a network of HS&E Professionals within K&S on company initiatives and best practice organisational performance activities
- Undertaking Risk Assessments and develop practical risk minimisation strategies within an established HS&E Management System
- Managing and maintaining the HS&E Management System on-site, supporting Operational Leader’s with compliance and customer expectations
Selection Requirements
- Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or higher)
- Experience within a transport, warehousing and logistics or other high-risk industry preferred but not essential
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel between sites as needed
- Current valid drivers licence
- Proficiency in Office 365 and a systems-savvy approach.
