Trade Co is looking to diversify our portfolio and expand into high-end residential and commercial projects. To support this growth, we are seeking a full-time Supervisor to join our team.
About the role
As a Supervisor on our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential building projects alongside our Business Manager. Your proven project management skills will assist you in ensuring your portfolio is managed on time, within budget and to a high standard all whilst maintaining outstanding customer service.
Key responsibilities (including but not limited to);
- Onsite meetings with clients, quoting, tendering and establishing scope of works for a variety of projects including insurance repairs, residential renovations and small commercial works
- Liaising with our trades to allocate and schedule works throughout your portfolio
- Ordering materials, managing budgets and ensuring repairs are completed within timeframes
- Providing regular updates to clients, homeowners and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing trade activities ensuring works are being completed to the highest possible quality and safety standards
- Actively celebrating the success of our team!
As our ideal candidate you will possess the following;
- Current QBCC Builders Licence – essential
- Well-round experience in the domestic and/or commercial building space
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- General computer savviness and the desire to expand skillset
- Proven experience in managing building projects on time, to budget with a high-quality finish.
- Strong understanding of Building Codes, Repair Process, Finishing Standards, Products, Suppliers, Contracts, Scope of Works and the Variation process.
- Experience and understanding of Occupational Health & Safety.
