Job DescriptionBring your passion for food and beverage service to Brisbane’s largest conferencing
and Events operation. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor in the
Conference and Events Operations department, you will supervise your team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
What you will be doing:- Assist in leading, mentoring and training the Conference and Events Operations team
- Supervise events, liaise with clients and delegate duties to team members
- Liaise with the kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal is maintained
- Ensure guest expectations are met in each event, delivering a service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standards
- Promote a strong Heartist culture and a team that is focused on providing unforgettable experiences to our guests.
QualificationsYou will excel in this role if you have:
- A luxury service focused personality
- Functions experience in a large hospitality events operation
- Experience in leading a team and supervising others
- Ability to work rotating roster, with the occasional late night or overnight shift
- A real passion for everything food and beverage
- Ability to delegate responsibilities accordingly
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
- A high level of personal presentation
- Team spirit and positivity, with the ability to work efficiently.
