The Position:
- Responsible for overseeing residential, retail, sport events & function catering
- Quality delivery and oversight of residential boarder meals, ensuring nutritional requirements are met
- High street café and canteen services
- Catering at a high level for events and functions
- Communicate and work collaboratively with the client on all aspects of delivering a quality service
- Build and leverage effective stakeholder relationships to achieve business objectives
- Oversight of the development and professional presentation of all team members
- Developing leadership and employee capability, and foster a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
- Personally develop every team member by listening, coaching, supporting and encouraging them to optimise performance
- Oversight of the administrative functions associated within your responsibility remit
- Promote our safety culture with a zero harm mindset
The Person:
- Strong customers service skills and experience in building client relationships.
- Ability to quote, create and deliver on high end function activity.
- Experience in managing multi-outlets and a team up to 30 people.
- Retail experience and ability to review cost of products and recommend sale prices to achieve desired budget.
- Stock management and control to minimise wastage and optimise profitability.
- Rostering and managing labour workforce to ensure efficiencies and achieve desired strike rate.
- Managing a team to ensure commitment to delivering our brand standards.
- Food safety and allergen management compliance.
- Proactive leader who is professional, positive, supportive and motivated with experience in recruiting, mentoring, training and developing a team of hospitality professionals
