The project types vary from $5M - $100M and include New Build, Fitout and Refurbishment projects across various sectors including: Commercial Office, Hotels, Government, Health, Sporting Complexes and Retail. They truly do value their employees and this is why they have been named an Employer of Choice over and over again.They are seeking a Site Manager with extensive fitout and refurbishement experience to commence on a $40M project. They have some exciting projects in the pipeline and they support their teams by staffing their projects accordingly.
YOUR Role as Site Manager
- Site coordination of Trades/Sub-Contractors and Labour on site.
- Prepare Site Programme and ensure the operational works are on target and in accorance with relevant plans, spcifications, scopes, codes and regulations.
- Deal with issues raised throughout the day's work, ensuring they are dealt with to achieve continuity on site.
- Management of Workplace, Health & Safety policies onsite, ensuring Quality Assurance.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordination of project logistics, material delivery and resource allocation.
- Strong level of communication with Project Team, Site Foreman, Trades and Subcontractors.
- At least 5+ years recent experience as a Site Manager with the ability to manage a team of Foreman.
- Have extensive fitout and refurbishment experience with the abilty to deliver projects above $20M + ideally across commerical projects.
- Come from a Trade background (Carpentry ideally).
- Ability to organise the methodology and programme of works.
- OH&S, conducting safety inspections and co-chairing toolbox meetings.
- Current Senior First aid certificate, QBCC Open Supervisors licence.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
- Must be IT Savvy and have the ability to undertake programming.
