What’s the role?
As a register WA builder, we are looking to appoint a Site Manager to work alongside our Project Management team.
The Site Manager is expected to take total responsibility for the effective management of all site based activities throughout the pre-construction planning, construction and defects phases of a project (or projects) including the management of Safety, Environmental, Programme, Quality, Materials Handling and Overall Site Coordination Activities. The role requires thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.
With the full support of the Construction and Technical Teams, here are some of the duties required:
- Manage site safety in accordance with JLL’s certified safety system and legislative requirements.
- Manage site environmental matters in accordance with JLL’s certified environmental management system and legislative requirements.
- Ensure programmed dates for all construction and defect rectification activities are achieved.
- Manage the quality of the final product produced by trade contractors.
- Manage the coordination of all site activities including materials handling, trade contractors and suppliers.
- Manage Industrial Relations on site and engage with Unions and Union representatives in a professional manner.
- Assist project team in analysing buildability issues in respect to design development.
Together with the Project Management team you liaise with suppliers and contractors to get the most cost effective price and schedule, track and coordinate works which will require site attendance.
You will also assist in the development of risk and contingency plans to ensure all activity is compliant and to standard with applicable guidelines.

To secure this role you will have proven fit-out installation experience ideally working on commercial building projects with strong exposure and knowledge across trades and all stages of the construction process.
Both written and spoken communication skills are vital and, of course, you'll be good at building team relationships and interacting effectively with business partners.
You will also hold a tertiary qualification in construction / project management or trades background.
Please note travel will be involved as required to deliver projects in remote locations and you will hold an unrestricted Drivers Licence
