Site Manager - Commercial High Rise

A successful and highly regarded construction contractor, have partnered with Design & Build to source an experienced Site Manager. They build a range of Commercial High Rise and luxury apartment projects.They're currently recruiting for a Site Manager to manage a new project South of the river valued up to $60MAs the Site Manager you will be directly responsible for the control of the site team and its activities, including:

• Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and deliveries
• Liaising with clients to ensure the project is delivered on schedule
• Develop and maintain great rapport with site teams and stake holders
• Working closely with the Project Manager managing the construction program
• Mentoring of less experienced staff
• Ensuring high standards of OHS compliance on site
• Reporting directly into the construction Manager

Requirements to be considered for the Site Manager role:

• Construction Management/Building Qualification or equivalent
• Proven industry experience on fitout, apartment and refurbishment projects
• Proved experience delivering D&C projects
• Proven track record of training less experienced staff
• Drive and focus for career progression
• Broad knowledge of OH&S
• Great management skills which will enable the team of sub-contractors to have the drive and motivation to meet deadlines
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Software
