Accountant

Challenge, variety and long-term career prospects for the right person!The RoleAn opportunity has become available for an Accountant to join the Ramsay Health Care Finance Service Centre team, providing accounting support to Ramsay Health Care's network of private hospitals across Australia.Your key accountabilities of the role include month end accounting, statutory reporting, analysis of results, asset accounting and management of debtors. You will be joining a team that places great importance on providing a positive and supportive environment.This a permanent full-time opportunity, based in our Sydney Head Office in St Leonards. Work from home flexibility is supported however you will be required to be in office from time to time.About YouWe are seeking someone who is self-motivated, possesses excellent technical accounting knowledge, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally, you should possess a strong customer focus and demonstrate the ability to communicate well with both finance and non-finance stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.This position is suited to someone who is newly qualified or has almost completed their CA/CPA qualification.Essential Skills and Experience

• Qualifications in Financial or Management Accounting disciplines
• CA / CPA qualifications or very near qualified
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting processes and understanding of general ledger accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory control
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills
• Ability to set own targets and coordinate work plans to ensure success in meeting them
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Experience in a similar role in a large or complex organisation, ideally within in the health care sector
