Site Manager
YES Group (SA) Pty Ltd, is an innovative South Australian company, providing turnkey energy solutions. We operate a large team of personnel offering services such as Large-Scale Solar & Battery Projects, Energy Retailing and High Voltage Installations across Australia.
We are excited to announce we are expanding our Construction Team and are seeking an experienced Site Manager.
The role will ideally suit an electrician with experience in the renewable energy space. They will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wider range of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be involved in the safe execution of site-based projects.
This full-time position will be based in South Australia, working both intra-state and interstate on FIFO/DIDO projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Construction Manager, Project Managers, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the company Work Health & Safety (WHS) Management Plan
- Understand the Site Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP)
- Assist in creating the Site Management Plan (SMP)
- Establish and manage all site related amenities and facilities
- Oversee Inductions of all site personnel and plant
- Implement the Site Daily Pre-Start (HIRAC)
- Manage all site registers
- Understand and enforce all site related policies
- Manage and procure site materials as required within any site budget delegations provided
- Co-ordinate work activities in conjunction with the project schedule
- Manage all site plant and personnel in regard to safety, environmental, time and quality objectives
- Provide leadership to work site leaders, and all YES group personnel and contractors
- Act as the initial escalation point for any site related WHS issues
- Provide site related design & engineering feedback for future projects
- Provide daily and weekly project reporting as requested
Requirements
- Certified electrician
- Willingness to work F.I.F.O. and D.I.D.O. roster
Desirable
- High Voltage experience
- Renewable energy experience
