Site Manager | Commercial Construction

THE COMPANYWith over 40 years of experience in the Victorian construction space, this company builds a variety of commercial projects up to $15mill. Their office is located in the Eastern suburbs and is easily accessible by public transport and they pride themselves on repeat business through the delivery of top-quality builds and focus on their core values of safety, quality and value for money. They have secured a $5mill project in Melborne's Northern Suburbs and are seeking an experienced SITE MANAGER to run this project.

It will consist of a full Gut & Refurbishment/Fit Out of an existing building. The project will be starting in March and is anticipated to take 12 months to compete.

THE ROLEAs a Site Manager for this company, you will be reporting directly to a Project Manager and you will have the support of a dedicated on-site team including Leading Hand, subcontractors and labour. This project will be run in multiple stages and will involve Demolition, structural new build of the structure amenities fit out. Duties include but are not limited to;Ensure Occupational Health and Safety is adhered to

Liaising with internal staff, (Project Manager, PC and Construction Manager)Keep to the expected quality standard within the agreed time frames Managing the site coordination of subcontractors and suppliersSKILLS & EXPERIENCEIf you have had experience site managing commercial projects up to $5mill over the past 3 years and thrive in a challenging environment, this role could be suited to you. History of delivering projects start to finish between $5-15mill that includes a variety of projects in the commercial spaceA Carpentry background is a must! 2-5 years in a Site Management position preferred.
