We are looking for a seasoned Site Manager to join of our home in Rossmore. This position is perfect for someone who has extensive experience working in a home with complex mental health/psychosocial disabilities.
Someone with great communication skills, naturally empathetic who leads with care, and who can manage stakeholder and team relationships both internal and external - including the families of our clients.
This role would suit a personable leader who has had exposure to managing a team within an ambiguous and sometimes challenging environment.

Your new role:
- To support our clients and mentor their direct support workers to understand the need for consistency & connection whilst maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. To understand and demonstrate the importance of person-centred active support by giving clients choice and control to take control of their lives.
- You are responsible for the effective management and operation of SIL accommodation services.
- Maintain a positive environment and an open-door policy where staff and clients feel safe and heard.
- Help develop and implement NDIS plans and ensure clients have a voice and proactively be a part of encouraging client independence, hobbies, and interests.
- Performance management and conflict resolution when necessary
- Understand the importance for reflective practice in the planning & reviews of supports & future learning.
Some of our requirements:
- Qualification (minimum Cert 4 equivalent) in the Social Services or relevant domain for instance, Social Work, Psychology, Disability, Mental health, and Community Services.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Knowledge of relevant disability legislation and standards e.g. NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, the National Standards for Disability Services.
- Experience and understanding of NDIS practice standards specifically around Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices, and continuous improvement plans.
- Understand and be able to implement risk management strategies and procedures to minimise all areas of identified risk.
