An exciting career opportunity exists for an experienced Site Manager to manage the installation and commissioning of Heat and Control equipment to blue chip clients. Reporting to the Snr Project Manager, you will liaise closely with our engineering project team and play a key role in the planning, installation and commissioning and hand over on site of major greenfield projects. You will be responsible for:
- Managing the commissioning of food processing systems, plant/machinery, parts and electrical equipment.
- Managing the installation of Heat and Control processing equipment.
- Ensuring equipment and materials are delivered on time and damage free.
- Supervision of on-site personnel and trades.
- Managing Health and Safety issues on site.
- Providing daily reports to customer, Heat and Control's Snr Project Manager and Project Planner on installation progress and quality and resource planning.
About you
To be successful, you will need:
- All-round knowledge and experience of Mechanical & Electrical parts of a Commercial/Industrial equipment installation.
- Mechanical trade qualification.
- FMCG installation experience.
- Demonstrated experience in organising teams of site personnel and strong organisational skills are essential to the success of the role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer literacy including the ability to interpret MS Project schedules.
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Able to deal with multiple project workfaces simultaneously.
- Able to be site based in Sydney for the duration of the installation project (early 2025).
