About Our Client:
Our client, located in Woolner Darwin, is one Australia's largest privately owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations. As a national business, they operate from city centre's through to remote locations, and employ over 900 people Australia-wide. We are currently recruiting 2 x Site Manager's.
About the Role:
- Ongoing work – with the view to permanency
- Day Shift - 40 hr weeks
- Pay rate will be dependant on experience
- Great working conditions
- Vehicle supplied for travel to remote site locations
- Rosters: Monday-Friday, 2:1, 3:1 (successful candidate will need to be flexible on working roster due to scope of projects)
- Living Away From Home Allowance paid daily whilst working away
- Asbestos allowance paid which required
- Immediate start
- Provide input into project organisation in accordance with project directives and deliverables
- Understand and interpret scope of works and project plans
Daily Site Diary updating and reporting of program impacts, client instructions, resourcing, plant usage, weather
impacts and site issues; - Submission of delays, claims, variations and notices to clients in accordance with document;
- Ensure site safety is maintained at all times.
- Check designs and details on plans, any ambiguity to be followed up and resolved with the relevant authority.
- Monitor construction programs and liaise with Project Manager
- Understanding of construction/civil or Asbestos materials and methods, Trade or civil background or equivalent industry experience,
- Project programming experience, management and planning skills, exposure to contract administration, OHS for Supervisors
- Current drivers licence
- Ability to pass full pre-employment medical
- Ability to pass National Police Clearance
- Competent technical, planning and financial management skills;
- Proven knowledge and understanding of achieving occupational health and safety principles and industrial relations management;
- Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Sound computer literacy skills in relevant fields including Company accounting software, MS Project, MS Office and Outlook;
- Sound technical knowledge across a wide range of skillsets, trade disciplines and project lifecycles;
- Excellent time management including prioritization and delegation of project tasks;
- Demonstrated ability to identify, manage and resolve issues as they arise during the course of a project.
