Reporting Line: O&M Manager
- Full-time, Mon- Fri, 7am - 4pm, 38 hours per week
- Local candidates / willing to relocate (relocation bonus for the desired candidate, paid in first pay)
- $160-170,000 base plus super + 11% super (depending on experience)

About The Role
The Site Manager will be expected to plan and oversee the operation and maintenance requirements of the PV Solar Plant. They will determine, implement, and monitor strategies, policies and plans to optimise efficiency and maximise the asset’s productivity.
Main Responsibilities
- Determining, planning, scheduling, implementing, and monitoring maintenance activities to ensure proper execution of O&M contract and plant requirements
- Coordination and supervision of site personnel and subcontractors
- Engage with stakeholders, town planning authorities, project owners, landowners, Traditional Owners, and the wider local community
- Manage the relationship with local authorities and utilities (NSPs, AEMO)
- Asset’s performance monitoring and reporting of O&M activities to Owners
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers regarding engineering aspects associated to plant equipment
- Overseeing all incoming and outgoing documentation required for the operation of the plant
- Development of estimates, budgets and quotes required to ensure cost performance and resources usage is achieved
- Administrate procurement process to ensure timely supply of material, spares, and consumables to the plant
- Warranty claims management
- Participate in the selection of O&M personnel, subcontractors, technical advisors, and other technical consultants
- Organising and scheduling of trades, material, and supply deliveries
- Ensure site team works in conformity with specifications and plans, and in compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards
The following professional qualifications and expertise will be required: (mandatory)
- Engineering degree or relevant qualification as Electrician in Australia
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in the energy sector as Project Manager, Plant/Site Manager or Electrical Supervisor
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical maintenance practices
- Experience in managing personnel, subcontractors and suppliers
- Solid knowledge of generation, power transmission and distribution
- Strong understanding of solar farm operation and maintenance
- Experience in the preparation of budgets and quotations
- Experience in the implementation of health & safety, environmental and quality assurance processes
- Experience with the selection of personnel and subcontractors
- Able to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications, and provide advice on methods and procedures to achieve production requirements
- HV Switching and Operations ticket/experience/knowledge
- Experience with Solar PV plants (construction, installation, support)
- Knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical installations
- Experience with CMMS and remote monitoring tools
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- High level of motivation
