Site Mechanical Supervisor
Location: DIDO 2/1 rostaOur client is a leading Power Engineering company, looking to grow their construction team due to a strong pipeline of projects. They have an experienced team of experts thriving on engineering excellence, sustainability, and delivering projects that make a real impact.Seeking Site Mechanical Supervisors reporting to the Site Manager, to provide support to the Construction Team overseeing the Mechanical Installation, liaising with Engineering, Mechanical contractors, other site team members to ensure the installation of mechanical equipment is installed efficiently and safely.This role is a full time, permanent position based out of QLD. FIFO travel required working on ideally a 2:1 site roster.Responsibilities:Professional approach and conduct when liaising with clients and customersMeet company standards in quality, work health, safety, environment and where possible meet those required standards in their immediate work areas.Ensure Quality pack of ITP’s and ITR’s for all Installation works being undertaken by the Contractor or the company – in parallel signing off on the ITP’s and ITR’s as requiredbeing the company's representative. Ensuring all QA is up to date at all timesPlan the works to ensure installation is completed efficiently - to ensure no hold ups/ lack ofmaterials/ equipment on site to carry out the works.Drawings, ensuring the contractors and the company are working to the latest revision drawings.Ensure work is being carried out within the Safety Management plans guidelines at all timesReviewing programme of works, report back to Project team any potential delays to programmewith enough time to mitigate any risk of loss time.Flexibility at times to support the team, on other jobs not aligned to Mechanical Installation.Contribute to Tool box talks, Pre-start and on some occasions facilitate Pre-starts for theconstruction team.About you:Mechanical trades or pipe fitter backgroundA technical qualification along with management trainingExperience working on construction sitesKnowledge and understanding of effective Workplace Health, Safety, Environmental andQuality practicesAble to handle multiple tasks, demands, the ability to be calm and controlled under pressureMicrosoft Word and Excel (essential)Good communication skills.Current Drivers Licence
