ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Site Projects Manager, you will lead the execution of field activities and projects related to gathering systems, brownfields, and other relevant projects. Reporting to the Site Program Director, you will align with the Asset Services strategic plan and Asset schedule and budget to enhance Asset performance and support Integrated Gas strategic objectives. You will oversee projects from pre-AFE to field execution and handover, managing multiple contractors across all assets.
More about you:
- Oversee the implementation of new field infrastructure for gathering systems, brownfields, and related projects, ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery to support asset optimisation.
- Ensure safe and efficient planning and execution of projects, providing operational support and technical expertise as necessary.
- Demonstrate safety leadership, setting an example for HSE compliance, achieving HSE targets, and promoting positive HSE outcomes.
- Ensure strict adherence to Safe Control of Work and Management of Change processes, leading by example in health, safety, and environmental behaviours and attitudes.
- Oversee team performance, developing technical competence, and supporting team members to cover the scope of work and meet targets as a delivery partner to the Assets.
- Champion the development of people, processes, and systems to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will come with demonstrated leadership and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and contribute at a management level. You will be resilient under pressure, committed to continuous improvement, and capable of driving change and applying innovative thinking.
More about you:
- Over 10 years in oil and gas, mining, or major projects industries, with more than 5 years in project management.
- Experience managing infrastructure projects; gathering systems and/or brownfields experience is desirable.
- Successfully led a Contract Operations Team for over 2 years, focusing on HSE performance and variation management.
- In-depth knowledge of Origin’s SCOW procedure or equivalent experience with safe systems of work in high-risk operations.
- Led multi-disciplinary technical teams and major projects from concept through execution to closeout.
- Degree or trade qualification in a relevant field with over 5 years of application; Project Management Diploma desirable but not essential.
