Role overview:
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Site Supervisor is responsible for running job sites, coordinating site crews and subcontractors, and ensuring the agreed timeframes for the build are met. Managing up to 30 individual homes, you are required to have your Commercial Licence as builds may include NDIS projects (not large-scale commercial).
Main responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver building projects from pre-construction through to hand over
- Ensure adherence to company’s Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies, procedures, rules, and standards
- Interpret plans to direct the progress of work and monitor compliance with construction
- Co-ordinate, review, monitor and supervise all direct and subcontract site activities and work
- Meet and amend specified timelines as agreed
- Ensure quality of work is maintained with regular inspections
- Undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Construction Manager
- Maintain a positive customer experience
- Experience in a Site Supervisor role
- Relevant Qualifications in Construction Management
- Commercial Supervisors License up to 2 storey is required, and Residential Licence also preferred (but not essential)
- Valid and current driver license
- Knowledge of project management software, with CoConstruct preferred
- Ability to read detailed design documentation including site plans, floor plans, elevations & finishes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to problem solve and meet specified timelines
- Proven project management skills
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
