Being a custom builder, no two homes are the same. There are no “base models” so we are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/Manager who will thrive on the challenge of working on something different every day.
We are looking for someone who can think outside of the box. Someone who’s creative and innovative with a “can do” attitude.
About the role
This is an integral function which supports management.
- Supervising of subcontractor to ensure all work is carried out according to the BCA and specifications
- Ensuring all subcontractors observe and adhere to all OH&S guidelines and regulations
- Scheduling deliveries of materials to site
- Scheduling and arranging subcontractors
- Inspecting and verifying all works completed prior to subcontractors' payment
- Arranging mandatory inspections with the Certifiers / Councils / Engineers
- Ensuring that all projects are completed within the contractual period
- Ensuring that high quality work is maintained at all times
- Handling of Joint Inspection with clients and handover
- Attending to all matters relating to the defect liability period

Skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of relevant building laws and regulations.
- Understanding of construction methodologies for both residential and commercial projects.
- The ability to spot potential risks in design drawings and work up cost-effective solutions
- A high attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent construction and product knowledge
- Possess good written and spoken communication skills
- Demonstrate good understanding of both the BCA and Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Must be technically sound in the construction processes.
- Resourceful and have the ability to solve problems independently.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.

- As you will be an important member of the construction division, you will be required to assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance and enhancements to our onsite work, health and safety, systems and procedures.
