About the role
Due to our ever growing operations throughout the East Region, we currently have an outstanding opportunity for a results driven Site Supervisor with previous residential housing construction experience in building quality homes, on time and on budget to join our fantastic Aplace team. You will be primarily managing homes under construction in the Clyde and surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for:
- Your portfolio of residential homes are built on quality, time and budget.
- Establish and manage a quality trade base to facilitate construction
- Supervise trades on site, ensuring the building process / program is followed and OH&S, quality and regulatory guidelines are met.
- Ensure paperwork, forward planning and reports occur as required

Our Head office is based in Cremorne whilst our Construction Staff are located in our Port Melbourne office and is a great base for our construction team when not out on site, although you will be working autonomously.

Skills and experience

We anticipate that you will possess:
- proven experience in supervising residential housing (Volume housing)
- exceptional communication skills
- demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills
- a strong customer focus, the ability to multi-task and have a flexible and adaptable approach
- the ability to read and interpret plans
- ability to use basic computer operating systems and operating software
- the capability to build rapport across all levels of the business
- a current driver's licence is a requirement for this role.

- not afraid to get your hands dirty
Beyond that, you are reliable, detail oriented, considerate and demonstrate a genuine understanding of teamwork.
