The Company -  Residential Builder & Developer looking for a new Site Manager to oversee the construction of our Projects & Developments. We are seeking a motivated and professional  with experience in Multi-Res, Commercial & Townhomes. This is a permanent role with 5 years of work ahead of us

Site Supervisor / Manager – Medium Rise Unit Construction or Mixed-Use Commercial 

Brisbane Project Locations 

Projects typically $4M-$40M, 4-12 Storeys with Basement Car Park

Requirement for a number of Site Managers to join our Project/Development division.

We have projects commencing across South-east QLD and are seeking capable Supervisors able to deliver these projects. 

The projects range between have a $5m-$40M construction cost, 3 – 12 storeys, with 1-3 levels of basement car parking and have a medium to high level of finish in premium locations. The business is a well regarded contractor/developer who has developed an excellent reputation for the high quality of projects we deliver and as an excellent employer. 

As the number 1 Supervisor on the project, reporting into the Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the construction project. Your duties will include; 

Management of the full life cycle of the construction project from early works, structure through to finishes.

• Reading construction plans and drawings
• Management of all company site staff – including Leading Hands and Site labour.
• Management of crane towers and logistical issues
• Strong understanding and implementation of OH&S management and Site safety
• Direction and management of multiple sub-contractors
• Regular correspondence with the Project Manager
• Can assist with the construction programme ensuring the project is delivered on-time and within budget – weekly and monthly programme meetings
• To be suitable for this position, it is expected you will possess the following skills.

Trade / Carpentry background and progressed through to a Site Management or General Foreman position (preferable).
A QLD Builders License is preferred
Capable of being a number 1 Site Manager on a new build unit project.
A strong understanding of structure as well as a high-end finish.
Will be a good communicator and have a positive attitude to building multi-storey apartment projects.
Will have basic computer literacy skills.
