SR Construction is a highly reputable multi-trade construction company with over 21 years of experience in the private and public housing sector. We have established ourselves as specialists in public housing restorations, upgrade works, and new construction. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to join our team.

As a Site Supervisor, you will become an integral part of our supportive team that is committed to delivering exceptional projects that meet our clients' expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives and adherence to workplace safety regulations. Your role will involve effectively managing subcontractors and internal trades, while maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of job sites.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Executive Team, you will be responsible for the supervision of maintenance works for residential properties across the greater Sydney Metropolitan area.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Inspect, scope and report on works required
- Provide accurate and detailed scope of works for residential properties
- Supervise multiple projects from start to handover
- Coordination of subcontractors and internal trades
- Communicate effectively with clients, trades and office staff
- Maintain high level of paperwork and organisation
- Inspect completed work to ensure high standard of quality workmanship
- Ensure all projects are completed on time
- Instigate and maintain WHS processes and compliance of the safety of all personnel on the worksites
To be successful in the position, the following attributes are required:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential construction
- A formal qualification in a construction related discipline is essential
- Relevant experience in the social housing sector
- Familiar with Housing NSW Schedule of Rates
- Problem solving abilities and solution-based thinking
- Great with clients and resolving issues
- Ability to manage subcontractors and suppliers maintaining a positive relationship
- Demonstrate a high level of WH&S and QA knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Be well presented, reliable and exhibit a professional attitude
