With our continued growth we are currently seeking a Construction Supervisor to join us at Urban Homes NSW Pty. Ltd.
The candidate must possess minimum 5 years experience in site supervision, experience and/or qualification in Carpentry, Builder's License, basic computer skills, knowledge of WHS regulations. Access to a trade network would be favorable.
The Site Supervisor will oversee and co-ordinate the daily operations of worksite within our developments to ensure a high level of performance and compliance with health and safety guidelines. The Site Supervisor will be primarily reporting to the Construction Manager.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Manage the day-to-day construction process and
Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors - Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
- Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
- Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
- Reporting to Construction Manager, Project Manager and Colour Consultant on the progress of the project
- Continually monitor project costs and maintain a sound financial position for each project
- Apply sound judgement and decision-making skills to solve Construction and maintenance problems both in the planning stages and during the actual construction process
- Hiring and evaluating the performance of the on-site workers
Beyond that, you are reliable, detail oriented, considerate and demonstrate a genuine understanding of teamwork.
External Qualifications required
- Builder's Licence
- Qualification and/or experience in Carpentry
- White Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Driver’s licence
- Completion of a post-secondary education construction training program
- Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor
- Strong Knowledge of OH&S
- Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- The ability to interpret blueprints

- The Ability to use power tools
- Full working rights and be available to work 40+ hours a week

- Quick to adapt new skills and multi-task
- Own car (Preferred but not required)
