Site Technology Officer

Position Overview
As a Site Technical Officer, you’ll work closely with senior engineers, ICT Operations, and other teams across the Agency. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware issues to supporting video conferencing solutions, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things tech-related. Your ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues will be crucial, as will your enthusiasm for staying up to date with the latest advancements in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Onsite Liaison: Be the bridge between senior technical staff, vendors, and end users. Your excellent communication skills will ensure seamless collaboration.
Video Conferencing and AV Support: Configure, test, and train end users on video conferencing and audio-visual technologies.
Physical Network Services: Handle hardware installation, removal, patching, and break-fix troubleshooting. Yes, you’ll get to wield drills and tackle those heavy displays!
M365 Platform Support: Provide assistance on the Microsoft 365 platform.
Effective Communication: Engage with key stakeholders, including senior executives.

Technical Savvy: You’re comfortable with hardware, software, and network systems.

System knowledge: You will have previous experience working with M356 and Teams within a large organisation
