Apprentices and Trainees Queensland (ATQLD) is seeking applications for our Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) Trade Ready program, which will commence in Rockhampton on August 5th, 2024 (a 5-week Unpaid program).
This program is designed to upskill and assist Rockhampton job seekers in gaining relevant industry qualifications, personal and professional development training, and practical, real-world work experience.
Applicants are sought with the following qualities:
- High level of motivation
- Commitment to complete the program
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Essential Criteria for Program Participants:
- Queensland residents & an Australian citizen, Australian permanent residents (includes humanitarian entrants), temporary residents with the necessary visa and work permits on a pathway to permanent residency or a New Zealand Citizen).
- Over 15 years of age
- No longer enrolled in school
- Have not previously participated in a CSQ Trade Ready program
- Not currently working in the Construction industry
(Desirable) – Have some interest or previous experience in construction (e.g. a Certificate I or II in a related discipline or previous work as a labourer or Trades Assistant)
