It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system.This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a legacy for generations to come.About the RoleReporting to the Director, Program Controls, the Program Planning and Scheduling Manager will be responsible for the management of program and project Planning and Scheduling activities.This role will manage the integrated program schedule and team for the Cross River Rail (CRR) and European Train Control System (ETCS) Projects as well as related TMR and QR schedules as part of CRRDA's integrated master schedule (IMS). This role will manage the Planning and Scheduling support provided by project planner/schedulers across the CRR Delivery Program delivering client-led program and early works projects, Alliance-led Rail Integration and Systems (RIS) projects, and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contractor-led Tunnel, Station and Development (TSD) projects, and supporting TMR and QR stakeholder activities that will enable operational, network and business readiness for the wider Inner-City Network.You will work to deliver quality inputs, within a project-driven environment and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of this project.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Planning and Scheduling functions and team within the Delivery Authority.
- Collaborate and manage the integrated program schedule for the project.
- Provide Planning and Scheduling support to the Delivery Authority's project managers.
- Manage an Integrated Cross River Rail Program or Portfolio schedules with inputs from key contract and project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain schedules that enable 4D BIM.
- Monitor and provide advice on internal and external schedules changes against the IMS.
- Support the estimating, monitoring and performance assessment of project costs.
- Assess and advise on internal and external project risks that may impact the projects delivery and cost.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual program and project reviews.
- Support internal reporting through industry-standard scheduling and Business Intelligence tools.
- Manage the development and continuous improvement of the program, project Planning and Scheduling manual.
- Relevant qualifications in program and project management, Planning and Scheduling.
- A minimum of ten years proven experience in Planning and Scheduling roles on either major rail, civil or commercial projects.
- Experience in Planning and Scheduling within both program and project management environments.
- Demonstrated experience with industry-standard scheduling tools, in particular Primavera P6.
- Proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks, manage challenging priorities and work to achieve set deadlines.
- Ability to integrate schedule and cost data to perform CPM and EV analysis.
- Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report relevant data.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
