Skilled Mine Operators Required

Quest Personnel are currently seeking skilled Dozer operators, Haul/Dump truck drivers, Excavator operators and Grader Operators for a large coal mine located in Central Queensland. Free BIBO is provided from Mackay to and from site, or DIDO to and from site. Facilities, meals, and camp are all free.

• 7:7 Rotating Roster
• 12.5-hour shifts
• Long term project with a view to permanency
• Fantastic entry level payrates 

Please see below for relevant requirements for each of the advertised positions

Dozer Operator requirements 

• Experience with CAT D10 or D11 Track Dozers
• Experience on a haul 789 preferred but not essential

Haul/Dump truck Operators requirements 

• All or a combination of Cat 793, 789, 785 and Komatsu 830E, 930E
• Rigid Haul - Relevant Transcripts/VOC’s

Excavator Operator requirements 

• Hold a relevant Excavator VOC/Transcript
• Have previous experience operating minimum 3600 Excavator or higher

Grader Operator requirements

• Hold a relevant Grader ticket or VOC
• Have previous experience operating minimum 14M Graders

Key requirements for all positions:

• A clear police history 
• The ability to pass drug and alcohols assessment 
• 1- 2 years of operational experience 
  Coal Board medical and S11
